My favorite travel destinations:
Hawaii. First of all, it is beautiful. Second of all, the spirit of Aloha!
Africa. As an animal lover, there is no better place to be!! And, the people I have met there are friends for life.
My most embarrassing travel moment:
Sue Rovegno, one of the consultants here in the office, and I were in the Galapagos Islands (oh, I forgot, that’s ALSO one of my favorite places!!) on a nature walk on one of the islands. We had to strategically tip-toe through a huge pile of iguanas to get back to our zodiac. The iguanas were ““dormant” until a girl in front of me accidentally stepped on one of their tails and they got disturbed and started hissing and spitting!! I was literally paralyzed with fear and crying like a ““girl” so the naturalist had to carry me to the boat piggy back!!!
My favorite meal while traveling:
Fish, sushi and papaya in Hawaii, South African brais, German food, and carne asada burritos and rolled tacos in San Diego!
