When Should I Go?
Green Season: November – March
- Zebra and wildebeest migration in Savuti (January and February)
- Wild flowers in bloom
- Tremendous birding
- Antelopes giving birth and predators on the hunt
- Animals, especially the elephants, much more dispersed because of the abundance of water sources — hence density of game viewing is historically lower than during the dry season
Dry Season: May – October
- Game at its most dense
- Huge congregations of animals along the river
- Some of the best elephant viewing in all of Africa
- Warm sunny days and cool nights
- Excellent game viewing in the heat of October
