Bazaruto Archipelago

Quirimbas Archipelago

When Should I Go?

Mozambique has a warm tropical climate with an average temperature throughout the year of 86F; the coast can be sunny all year. The weather between June and October is hot, dry and low in humidity.

Best time to travel: from May to November

Winter travel: April to October — dry; the average daytime temperature on the coast is 80F; great beach weather

Summer travel: November to April — hot, humid, rainy season; short, brief downpours mixed with sun and an average daytime temperature of 90F; very good time for fishing
