Day 1: Arrive Cape Town, South Africa

On arrival in Cape Town, after collecting your luggage and completing customs/immigration, you will be met by a Travel Beyond representative and transferred by private vehicle to the Cape Cadogan Boutique Hotel. Enjoy four nights in one of Cape Town’s most vibrant neighborhoods, including breakfast daily.

The Cape Cadogan is a stately double-story Georgian and Victorian building that dates back to the beginning of the 19th century. It was originally a Georgian farmhouse which was “Victorianized” in 1912, and declared a National Monument in 1984. This boutique hotel is the epitome of discreet distinction and is well known for its comfortable, luxurious Bohemian chic atmosphere.

Days 2-4: Cape Town

At leisure to explore Cape Town and the surrounding area.

Day 5: Cape Town to Stellenbosch

Today, after breakfast and check-out, you will be met by a Travel Beyond representative and transferred by private vehicle to Stellenbosch in the Cape Winelands. Enjoy the next two nights at the D’ouwe Werf Hotel, including breakfast daily. Afternoon at leisure to explore on your own.

Established in 1802, d'Ouwe Werf is South Africa's oldest and most historic hotel and has defined hospitality and fine dining for centuries. Guests enjoy the wonders of the Cape Winelands from the repose of luxurious accommodation, situated in the historical core of the university town of Stellenbosch, only about 27 mi. from Cape Town, 12 mi. from the sea and surrounded by beautiful mountains. Stellenbosch is famous as the premier wine region of South Africa.

Day 6: Stellenbosch

Day at leisure to explore the Cape Winelands.

Day 7: Stellenbosch to Klaserie Private Nature Reserve

Today, after breakfast and check-out, you will be met by a Travel Beyond representative for your private road transfer to the Cape Town Airport for your flight to Nelspruit (Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport). On arrival in Nelspruit, you will be met by a Travel Beyond representative and transferred by road to Gomo Gomo Game Lodge for three nights, including all meals and scheduled game activities. This afternoon join the other guests for your first game drive before returning to camp for dinner.

Gomo Gomo Game Lodge is an intimate camp built on the banks of the Nhlaralumi River in the prestigious Klaserie Private Nature Reserve, one of South Africa's most pristine and unspoiled reserves. Known for its excellent game viewing and diverse habitats, the region is the home of the white lion, and now forms part of the greater Kruger National Park, with a common unfenced border - an area comprising more than 2.2 million hectares of untamed bushveld.

Days 8-9: Klaserie Private Nature Reserve

On safari! Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in the reserve daily. Meals will be served in camp.

Day 10: Klaserie Private Nature Reserve to Sabi Sand Game Reserve

Today, after your morning game drive and breakfast, you will be transferred by road from Gomo Gomo Game Lodge to the Sabi Sand Game Reserve. Enjoy two nights at Elephant Plains Game Lodge, including all meals and scheduled game activities. This afternoon you will have your first game drive at Elephant Plains, followed by dinner at the lodge.

Elephant Plains Game Lodge is a family owned lodge situated on the dry Manyeleti riverbed and overlooking a permanent waterhole. The rustic lounge area is an ideal place to relax and share experiences. Mealtimes are sumptuous affairs with tasty international cuisine and South African specialties. The pool deck guarantees an excellent view of a variety of animals, coming from the plains to drink.

Day 11: Sabi Sand Game Reserve

On safari! Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in the reserve. Meals will be served in camp.
Elephant Plains Game Lodge B/L/D

Day 12: Depart South Africa

Today, after your final game drive and breakfast, you will be transferred by road to Nelspruit (Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport) for your flight to Johannesburg. On arrival in Johannesburg, board your connecting flight to the United States. Welcome Home!

All accommodation on a shared basis; Meals as specified; Excursions and transfers as included in the quote; Most safari camps and lodges include two game activities per day in their rate – one in the morning and the other in the afternoon. Private activities and guide may be booked, at an additional cost, for sole use or special interest activities; Relevant park fees and entrance fees as specified in the quote; Drinks as specified – drink inclusions may differ between camps/lodges; Laundry can be done at most camps/lodges and hotels. In some cases this is included in the rate as quoted; Accommodation taxes, the applicable Tourism Levies and all relevant Value Added Tax (VAT) or Government Sales Tax (GST).

GENERAL EXCLUSIONS:

Any scheduled commercial flights and related taxes; Meals not specified in the quote such as lunch and dinner in city hotels; Any drinks, park fees, entrance fees, porterage, tours/excursions and transfers not specified in the quote; Cancellation, baggage and medical insurance; Staff gratuities; Any new Government Taxes, levies, fuel or industry increases which are beyond our control; Visa fees where relevant. Should a visa payment be required, this will need to be made in US$ cash. Change is often not provided and thus the exact amounts payable are essential. Traveler’s checks and credit cards are not accepted for this purpose; International Airport Departure Taxes (applicable at manned airports only) which is to be paid in US Dollar cash on departure, unless included in your air ticket cost.
