Kibale Forest National Park
This tropical rain forest is home to the highest density of primates in the world and is the best place in Uganda for chimpanzee trekking.

- Chimpanzees – Kibale is home to over 1,000 chimpanzees with about 80 being habituated to humans
- 12 primate species including the blue monkey, red tailed monkey and black and white colobus monkey
- 335 bird species
- Over 140 butterfly species
- Giant trees 180 feet tall
- The Bigoti Wetlands Sanctuary, home to prolific birding
