Denmark
Denmark, made up of the Jutland Peninsula and many islands bordering the Baltic Sea and North Sea, is a country of both scenic attractions and vibrant cities, especially its capital of Copenhagen.
What Can I Do?
- In the capital of Copenhagen, visit Tivoli Gardens (an amusement park), Amalienborg and Fredensborg Palaces and the seasonal residences of the Danish royal family
- View the Little Mermaid statue, inspired by Hans Christian Andersen
- Visit Hans Christian Andersen’s home in Odense
- Stop by Elsinore, home to Kronborg Castle, both the setting of Shakespeare’s “Hamlet” and a UNESCO World Heritage site
- Explore the northern countryside of the island of Zealand
Finland
Finland is a land of deep forests and thousands of scenic lakes and islands. Its natural beauty is also complemented by the strikingly beautiful city of Helsinki.
What Can I Do?
- Visit Temppeliaukio Church, created from a solid bedrock formation and boasting great acoustics as a concert venue
- Check out the Sibelius Monument, an abstract steel pipe sculpture honoring the late composer
- Listen to music at the Jean Sibelius Finlandia Hall, the ultra-modern concert and conference center
- Tour the Russian Orthodox cathedral
- Built in the 1700s on 6 islands, Suomenlinna Fortress is an attraction not to be missed

Holland

Norway
Norway is a country blessed with many natural features including glaciers, fjords, snowcapped mountains, cascading waterfalls and green valleys, but the charm and ambience of its historic should not be missed, either.

- Cruise among the majestic fjords at Songnefjord
- Explore the old-world charm of Bergen, a World Heritage City
- In Bergen, board the Flm Railway for panoramic views of stunning fjords
- In the capital, Oslo, visit famous Holmenkollen Ski Jump, Vigeland Sculpture Park, the Royal Palace and the Viking Ship Museum with its thousand-year-old excavated ships
Sweden
Sweden is a beautiful country with old-world charm. Cobblestone streets, castles and palaces are all part of this grand experience.
What Can I Do?
- Stockholm is considered the “Venice of the North” where you can spend the afternoon cruising a series of islands connected by bridges
- While in Stockholm, visit the Nobel Prize rooms at City Hall, the Royal Palace and Storkyrkan Cathedral
- Stroll through the narrow cobblestone streets of Stockholm’s Gamla Stan (Old Town)
- Tour the 17th-century warship Vasa, which sank just a few minutes into its maiden voyage
- For a fairy-tale setting check out Drottningholm Palace and the Court Theater
