Why Travel Beyond
Traveling is one of my lifelong passions; there is nothing quite like it, so I love being part of an organization that helps people craft unique, personalized, and thorough travel experiences.

Where I’ve Lived Abroad
During college, I studied abroad in Spain. My program was based in Valencia, although I was able to explore much of eastern and southern Spain during those few months as well. I would love to go back some day!
Most Memorable Travel Experience
Several come to mind, but one of the more memorable happened when I was traveling in France and came down with mono right as we got to Paris. While my travel companions were eating escargot on the Champs-Elysees and ascending to the top of the Eiffel Tower, I took a taxi to the nearest hospital and bumbled my way around the building with my extremely limited French, hoping to find the ear-nose-throat ward. (At that point, all I knew was that my tonsils were enormous and I felt sicker than I had ever felt!) Eventually, telling everyone I encountered that “my throat hurt” led me to the right doctor, who gave me four different medications and told me not to kiss anyone. I still haven’t seen anything in Paris apart from the hospital as I spent the rest of the trip quarantined in our apartment until we flew back to the States!
