This morning after breakfast, you will be met by a Travel Beyond representative for your private road transfer to the Nairobi Wilson Airport for your shared light aircraft flight to Lewa.
Upon arrival, you will be met by your guide and transferred to Lewa Wilderness Lodge. Enjoy two nights in a Cottage, including all meals. This afternoon after lunch, meet your guide and other guests for an afternoon/evening game drive in a shared vehicle. Dinner will be served at the lodge.
The Lewa Wildlife Conservancy now boasts 62,000 acres of conserved land and the richness of wildlife here is astounding with over 70 different animal species and 350 bird species. Lewa Wildlife Conservancy provides a safe haven for a wide variety of wildlife, and is particularly famous for its rhino and Grevy zebra programs. With less than 3,000 Grevy zebra remaining worldwide, Lewa represents the single largest population of Grevy zebra in the world with over 20% of these beautiful animals residing here.

The advantage of being located in the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy is that guests are surrounded by rich game viewing opportunities without the crowds. There is a very good chance of seeing all of the “Big Five” and Lewa is one of the only game parks where visitors are almost guaranteed to see the endangered black and white rhinos. With the backdrop of snow-capped Mount Kenya and the diversity of scenery from open plains, rolling hills, valleys, escarpments and rivers, Lewa is a magical place to game drive.

Upon arrival at the airstrip, you will be met by your guide and transferred to Naboisho Camp. Enjoy three nights in a Standard Tent. This afternoon after lunch, meet your guide and other guests for an afternoon/evening game drive in a shared vehicle. Dinner will be served at camp.

Offering unrivalled luxury, Lemala Kuria Hills Camp is situated in the Wogakurya Hills, close to the Mara River on the Tanzanian side of the border and within the main corridor of the world-famous wildebeest migration. Large boulders and kopjes form the prominent features of the site and each guest tent has been carefully positioned amongst these to ensure privacy and spectacular vistas over the gentle grassed slopes, open woodland and tree lined watercourses, which all make up the scenic north Serengeti landscape.

Serengeti National Park is undoubtedly one of the best-known wildlife sanctuaries in the world, unequaled for its natural beauty and scientific value. With more than two million wildebeest, half a million Thomson’s gazelle, and a quarter of a million zebra, it has the greatest concentration of plains game in Africa. The wildebeest and zebra moreover form the star cast of a unique spectactular – the annual Serengeti migration. The name ‘Serengeti’ comes from the Maasai language and appropriately means an ‘extended place.’

Known as the sunrise camp, Little Chem Chem is situated on the edge of an acacia forest. The camp is surrounded by the characteristic landscape of the Tarangire River with its impressive Baobab trees and overlooks the freshwater lake, Lake Burunge. The Babati mountain range offers a magnificent backdrop to the south-west, with the distant hills of Tarangire visible to the north-east. The atmosphere at Little Chem Chem is welcoming, elegant and oozing authenticity of a bygone era.

This morning, after an early game drive and breakfast, you will be transferred to the Manyara Airstrip in time for your shared light aircraft flight to Kilimanjaro. Upon arrival in Kilimanjaro, you will proceed to your connecting shared light aircraft flight to the Nairobi Wilson Airport.
Upon arrival in Nairobi, you will be met by a Travel Beyond representative for your private road transfer to the Boma Hotel. Upon arrival, enjoy the accommodations of a day room and dinner before departing for your overnight flight home!
