This morning after breakfast, you will be met by your private guide who will be at your disposal for a full-day. Together, you will see the city highlights, including entrance fees for a Township Walking tour, District 6, and Cape Castle.

Explore the sights, rich culture and history of Cape Town as you stroll through Company Gardens and visit the South African Museum. Stroll through the city to Greenmarket Square, where you can browse the bustling market stalls for beautiful and unique African mementos. From there drive to the Castle, South Africa’s oldest building, with its formidable collection of Old Cape paintings. We then visit the Iliso Care Society where we meet the staff and gain an insight into the lives they touch. Established in 2005 in Khayelitsha on the Cape Flats, Iliso began as a soup kitchen serving daily meals to hundreds of residents. The project has since expanded and offers a range of services to the local community including new skills development, an internet café, community empowerment workshop as well as providing safety and care for orphans, vulnerable children and the elderly. Return to your hotel via numerous other township districts and with a new perspective on South African township culture.
