Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park
Today after breakfast, you will depart for your full day trip to Chobe National Park. Your safari begins with a road transfer to the border at Kazangula. Once you cross into Botswana, you will be met by your local guide for a morning pontoon cruise on the Chobe River, offering a unique vantage for game viewing. Lunch will be provided on tour. After lunch, board safari vehicles for an afternoon game drive in the Chobe National Park.
Chobe National Park is surely one of the best places in Africa to see elephants, particularly in the water. Individual herds sometimes number in the hundreds and there are an estimated 120,000 elephants in total in the park. There are equally large herds of buffalo to be found. The park also offers great lion and leopard sightings, while the river has an unbelievable abundance of hippos and crocodiles and an almost inconceivable wealth of birdlife, including a number of particularly rare species that are highly sought after by top wildlife photographers.
Following your tour, you will be transferred back to camp. Enjoy the remainder of your day at leisure. Dinner will be served at camp.
