Most Recent Trip
Last April I traveled for two weeks in Argentina and Chile. My itinerary allowed me to explore the rich cultural life in and around both Buenos Aires and Santiago. These vibrant cities offered the most rewarding experiences including historical tours, estancia visits, tango shows, museums, polo and gaucho exhibitions, street art and culinary classes. Then I headed to the southern stretches of both countries, to Patagonia! Nothing could have prepared me for such magnificent beauty. The dramatic landscapes truly left me breathless – jagged mountain peaks, sparkling turquoise lakes, vast glaciers and the wide expanse of the Patagonian Steppe. Hiking the mountain trails and horseback riding through the rolling countryside of Torres del Paine, cruising alongside the glaciers and rocky shores of pristine Lake Argentina, and exploring the wonders of Los Glaciares National Park allowed me the opportunity to appreciate every aspect of this awe-inspiring region.
