Aussie Specialist – Tourism Australia
The travel industry has always been the focus of my career, and really the only one I’ve ever considered. Highlights for me started with the planning of special group tours for a coach tour operator in Banff, Alberta, Canada. I then went on to consulting at retail travel agencies in both Whakatane and Mount Maunganui, Bay of Plenty, New Zealand and also in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. A change of direction took me to another sector in the industry where I was an agent for a large airline in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I am now excited to be able to combine the best from these positions and join the team at Travel Beyond!
Where I’ve Lived Abroad

Most Memorable Travel Experience
Many of my travels are easy for me to call my most memorable. Some because they are taking me to a place that I end up calling home. Some because they bring people into my life that stay. Some because they are just so different to anywhere I’ve ever been. One most memorable and amazing trip for me has to have been to Israel and the West Bank. The awesome beauty, the wonderful people, the heavenly food and of course the very rich history made for so many experiences I’ll never forget. Someone once told me that it is a land of warmth, love, and olive oil…and that just about sums up my visit there.
My Most Recent Trip
New Zealand. Sometimes, I don’t really consider New Zealand an actual trip, as for me it is now simply going home. That being said, while home, there is always a spot to find that is new to me, or a spot to revisit and see again with new eyes, or simply my favourite spot to just go back to and take it in all over again.
