Why Travel Beyond
I am excited to put my lifelong passion for planning trips and building itineraries to good use and to help create lasting memories for Travel Beyond clients. If I can’t be traveling myself, it seemed only right to play a role in the process for those that are; and the amount of personal detail and customization provided by Travel Beyond helped fortify that it was the right fit. I also love being able to work with people who share my desire to travel and from whom I can learn along the way.

Career History
My professional background previously revolved around sports, primarily covering the logistics and operations for sporting events around the world, from nearly 88,000 fans at a game in Mexico City to less than 100 in smaller leagues across Europe. Getting the opportunity to work alongside people all over the globe was immensely enriching.
Where I’ve Lived Abroad
I lived in Limerick City, Ireland and studied abroad in Barcelona, Spain.
Most Memorable Travel Experience
I’d have to say that my most memorable travel experience was when my family came out to visit while I was living in Ireland. We road-tripped around the country, taking in landscapes from the Burren and the coasts, with many memorable local encounters along the way. The trip was capped off with a stay in Barcelona. A lot of my travels through the years have been solo, so to be able to spend time with my family in places they had previously only heard me describe was special. One particular moment that sticks out was getting together with my homestay parents in Barcelona, whom I hadn’t seen in nearly 10 years. I loved having two sets of parents side by side communicating with complete warmth, all without understanding a word each other spoke.
My Most Recent Trip
My most recent trip was to Mammoth Lakes, California with my brother for a friend’s wedding. We started off in Los Angeles for a couple days, getting our fix of delis and donuts and enjoying a Santa Monica bike ride. We then drove up Highway 395 through desert towns (no trip is complete without a stop at Gus’s Fresh Jerky) to the Mammoth Lakes cabins where everyone was staying. Time between wedding activities was spent out on the nearby lake and at the hot springs, which were surrounded by the Sierra Nevada Mountains. An ideal trip for me includes both the buzz of a city and remoteness of nature, so to get a great balance of both with this trip, along with all the celebrations was a perfect way to close out the summer.
