Why Travel Beyond
Why do I enjoy working at Travel Beyond? This is an easy question. For the past 11 years, the people at Travel Beyond have become family. I truly love each person (past and present) and can’t imagine life without knowing them. I have had tremendous opportunities to travel and experience things I never imagined, which is amazing, but the day to day experience of working with and getting to know the best group of people imaginable surpasses that. I’m a career “mom” and that seems to be my title at work, too. I would not want it any other way. I love watching everyone succeed and grow and if I am lucky, being a small part of their success.

Most Memorable Travel Experience
I’ve always preferred animals to people, so I suppose that is what originally inspired me to love being outdoors and seeing the world around me. I’ve lived all over the United States and visited all 7 continents. It’s hard to hone in on one travel experience, because I loved the experience of living on Oahu and the culture I soaked up each time in Africa. I’ve been lucky enough to visit Asia with an awesome group of people, so it’s hard to leave that off the list as well. Between Navy life and the travel industry, I feel like I have lived enough to fill two lives! It’s very hard to declare a favorite when each destination becomes my new favorite place; I have come to think that means I simply love to travel and experience new things.
