TITLE: Digital Brand Associate

SUPERVISOR:  Brand Manager
HOURS:             40 Hours per Week (See Hybrid Arrangement below)
LOCATION:       Wayzata, MN Headquarters (106 Broadway Avenue South)

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Email Marketing & Newsletters:

Develop, design, and manage email campaigns aimed at nurturing leads, retaining customers, and promoting travel services.

  1. Create engaging newsletter content that highlights travel tips and company news. Develop segmentation processes to increase click-rates and improve deliverability.
  2. Analyze email campaign performance metrics (open rates, click-through rates, etc.) and optimize based on results.
  3. Build client excitement for upcoming trips by developing meaningful touchpoints after purchase and before travel.
  4. Ensure compliance with the latest anti-spam laws and email marketing guidelines to optimize message deliverability, visibility, and click-through rates.
Social Media Management:

Strategically manage all social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook) ensuring consistent branding and messaging.

  1. Develop and execute social media content calendars, posting schedules, and advertising strategies to increase engagement and grow followers.
  2. Monitor and respond to social media interactions and build relationships with our online community.
  3. Consider additional social media platforms (Linkedin, X, TikTok) to increase awareness.
  4. Track performance metrics and report on ROI for social media campaigns. Adapt as needed based on results.
  5. Monitor relevant forums (e.g., TripAdvisor) and work with our Sales team to create relevant posts, enhance brand presence and grow customer engagement
Website Management:

Manage and optimize the company’s website by updating content, ensuring SEO best practices, monitoring site performance using analytics, and executing Google Ads campaigns to drive traffic and improve user experience.

  1. Manage content updates on the company’s website, including trip inspirations, blog posts, and product updates. Ensure the website remains fresh, user-friendly, and aligned with our brand messaging.
  2. Ensure the company’s website maintains ADA compliance by implementing accessibility best practices, including optimizing content for screen readers, providing alternative text for images, and ensuring navigational ease for all.
  3. Use analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics) to track website performance and recommend improvements.
  4. Ensure that the website is optimized for SEO, including load times and meta tags. Perform ongoing keyword research and integrate SEO best practices into all website content to increase organic traffic.
  5. Plan, implement, and manage Google Ads campaigns to drive targeted traffic to our website and generate leads.
General Brand Support:
  1. Assist with event planning, public relations and other general marketing activities, as needed.
  2. Provide assistance with proposal creation during high-demand periods.
  3. Stay current on industry trends and best practices in digital marketing, SEO, and social media.
  4. Create regular reports, highlighting team accomplishments, insights and recommendations for improvement.
  5. Develop initiatives aimed at enhancing customer lifetime value to fostering long-term relationships and encouraging repeat and referral business.
  6. Collaborate on technology projects to uphold brand consistency and deliver a seamless, high-quality client experience across all digital touchpoints.

COMPREHENSIVE TRAINING REQUIREMENT

Although this position is focused on marketing and brand, the selected candidate will be required to undergo approximately six months of sales administration training as part of their onboarding. This training is designed to provide a deep understanding of our sales processes, client interactions, and overall business operations, ensuring a well-rounded foundation that will enhance their effectiveness in the marketing role. The knowledge learned will better equip the candidate to develop strategies and tactics that align with the needs of our clients and drive business growth.

HYBRID WORK ARRANGEMENT

To ensure the right balance of support, collaboration and autonomy, the hybrid work schedule will follow a tiered approach. Duration of each tier will be based on the employee’s performance and readiness as determined by the Brand Manager.

  1. Training Period: The employee will be required to work full-time in the office during the initial training phase.
  2. Hybrid (Consistent Schedule): After demonstrating competency, the employee will transition to a hybrid schedule with at least 10-days in-office per month. These days will be coordinated with the Brand Manager.
  3. Hybrid (Independent Schedule): Once the employee demonstrates strong performance and the ability to work independently, they may choose to work on a flexible in-office / remote schedule, following the guidelines in the Employee Handbook. Currently, the handbook permits up to 50% of an employee’s workdays to be remote from one designated work location (e.g. home office).

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum Experience: 3-5 years’ experience in e-marketing, including email, social media, SEO, and Google Ads.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Ads, social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, etc.), email marketing tools (e.g. Constant Contact), Microsoft Office and SEO best practices. Basic design skills a plus.
  • Website Management: Experience managing and optimizing websites, ideally using WordPress; familiarity with ADA compliance standards is a plus.
  • Analytical Abilities: Strong data analysis skills, including the ability to track KPIs, make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement and use strategies to stay current on the -marketing landscape.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales and content creation.
  • Project Management: Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
