Travel Producer

SUPERVISOR:  Sales Development Manager
SCHEDULE:      Mon-Fri, 40 hours/week at the Wayzata, MN headquarters
We welcome applications from candidates interested in full-time or part-time work. Part-time schedules will be determined in coordination with the applicant’s availability.

OBJECTIVE:

Assist Travel Consultants and Travel Associates in the creation of custom international travel itineraries and documents for luxury travel clients.

TRIP PLANNING:

  • Assist Travel Consultants by preparing proposal itineraries and mailers based on the Travel Consultant’s trip design.
  • Follow company protocol to create confirmation and final travel documentation packages, including drafting detailed travel itineraries. Record mailers in our client database.
  • Enter sensitive data from client travel forms into our client database.
  • Field incoming phone calls to assist Office Manager.
  • Ensure service providers are accurately recorded.
  • Assist with additional company projects, upon request.

GENERAL:

  • Adhere to the Travel Beyond sales process.
  • Take ownership of assigned responsibilities and consistently produce accurate and efficient results.
  • Actively study products (destinations) and Travel Beyond terms and conditions.
  • Action tasks in shared team inboxes and assist the sales team as requested by your immediate supervisor.
  • Collaborate efficiently with others to make sure tasks are carried out correctly and in a timely manner.
  • Assist Office Manager as requested with opening and closing the Travel Beyond office and sending and distributing mail.

PROFITABILITY:

  • Ensure consistency is maintained in client documentation across all core destinations and experiences.
  • Think creatively and make recommendations that impact efficiency.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Build customer relationships to generate repeat and referral business.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Proficient computer skills and proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Take and follow direction well and be willing to ask for clarification, as necessary.
  • Able to adapt easily to plans, goals, and actions in response to unexpected events and fluctuating demands.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Outgoing and friendly personality on the phone and in-person.
