Although I wasn’t able to go on a Travel Beyond trip this year due to personal reasons, I was able to travel to see my boyfriend’s hometown on the Big Island of Hawaii. Here, we drove up to Mauna Kea and watched the sunset above the clouds amidst a backdrop of dozens of ancient craters formed by old volcano vents.
