Founded in 1975, Travel Beyond was the first US-based company to plan upscale safaris to Africa. 2022 marks our 47th year, and today we are proud to be the largest photographic safari operator in the US, designing custom trips for each traveler, rather than offering packaged group tours. Our full-time, salary-only consultants (we have no commissioned salespeople) hold deep knowledge, with more than 150 years of combined experience in Africa travel. They offer independent travel advice based on thousands of hours on the ground vetting camps, lodges and activities in Africa.

With so much information on the internet about safaris and safari planning, it’s hard to know what is true and accurate. For that reason, we’ve decided not to post testimonials on our website, from people identified by first name only.
