Day 3

Cape Town

This morning after breakfast, you will embark on a half day city and Table Mountain tour, followed by a foodie walking tour.

Your first tour begins with a cable car ride to the top of iconic Table Mountain, where panoramic views stretch from city to sea. Back at the base, wind through the colorful Cape Malay Quarter en route to the Company’s Garden, once a vital food source for passing ships and now a cultural hub lined with museums, Parliament, and St. George’s Cathedral. Explore lively Greenmarket Square, where handcrafted treasures fill the stalls, then visit the Castle of Good Hope to admire centuries-old Cape art. Pause at the Grand Parade, where Nelson Mandela addressed the nation after his release, and explore the powerful stories of the District Six Museum.

Next, you will dive into South Africa’s rich culinary heritage on an immersive walking tour through Cape Town’s historic neighborhoods. Guided by a warm and knowledgeable local host, you’ll explore the diverse flavors that define the country’s multicultural cuisine. Taste your way through Cape Malay dishes, traditional African specialties, and classic Afrikaner fare, each with its own story rooted in history and culture. Along the way, enjoy a mix of sweet and savory bites, local beverages, and insight into the customs that shape how different communities eat and gather.

Day 4

Cape Town to Franschhoek

Today after breakfast, you will venture into the nearby winelands for a relaxed day of wine tasting, great food, and city exploration. Stellenbosch, South Africa’s second-oldest town, provides another glimpse of classic 17th century Cape style, with a chance to browse quaint Dorp Street and many museums, galleries and shops.

Wine estate visits are tailored to your interests, and you will have ample opportunities to taste acclaimed reds, crisp whites, and Cap Classiques, Africa’s celebrated sparkling wines. Midday, settle in for lunch at one of the area’s top-rated, award-winning restaurants.

Following your tour, you will be transferred to La Residence where accommodations will be reserved for three nights. Enjoy the remainder of your day at leisure.

Franschhoek

This morning after breakfast, you will be met for your full day Franschhoek winelands tour. Known for its French heritage, award-winning wines, and scenic beauty, Franschhoek is the perfect place to sip, savor, and slow down. You’ll visit local wine estates tailored to your tastes, with the chance to sample everything from refined Old World-style vintages to fruit-forward blends. Along the way, you’ll hear about the area’s winemaking traditions and enjoy lunch at one of Franschhoek’s top restaurants.

Franschhoek to Kruger National Park

This morning after breakfast, you will be met for your private transfer to the Cape Town International Airport for your commercial flight to O. R. Tambo International Airport. Upon arrival in Johannesburg, you will board your shared light aircraft flight to Kruger National Park.

Upon arrival in Kruger National Park, you will be met for your transfer to Singita Sweni where accommodations will be reserved for three nights. This afternoon, enjoy a safari activity or spend the remainder of the day at leisure. Dinner will be served at the lodge.

On safari! Enjoy morning and afternoon safari activities with downtime to relax between excursions.

Kruger National Park

Today, after a morning safari drive, you will have the opportunity to attend the Singita Community Culinary School. Here, you can take part in a cooking class led by a skilled chef at the school’s demonstration studio.

Kruger National Park to Sabi Sands Game Reserve

This morning after an early safari drive and breakfast, you will be transferred to the airstrip for your shared light aircraft flight to Singita Boulders. Upon arrival at the airstrip, you will be met for your road transfer to the lodge where you will stay for three nights. This afternoon, meet your guide for a safari activity.

Day 11-12

Sabi Sands Game Reserve

On safari! Enjoy morning and afternoon safari activities with downtime to relax between excursions. While you’re staying at Singita Boulders, make sure to visit the wine cellar to meet their sommeliers and enjoy a wine tasting experience.

Day 13

Sabi Sands Game Reserve to Johannesburg

Today after breakfast, you will board your shared light aircraft flight to O. R. Tambo International Airport where you will continue towards your onward travels home.
