This afternoon, you will make your own way to the Sydney BridgeClimb for an exhilarating first-hand experience of one of the world’s most famous icons. Absorb a 360 degree panorama of Sydney on the original climb experience. At the top you will climb between the arches to the summit and see all of Sydney laid out before you. Along the way, a Climb Leader will share the Bridge’s rich history leaving you in awe of this incredible feat of engineering. Following your excursion, you will make your own way back to the hotel.

A delightful two-course lunch will be served at a local restaurant, accompanied by local wines. Learn about the industries colorful history and traditions and savor the wonderful wines that showcase the unique terroirs of the Cape in a myriad of styles, from classic old world favorites to fruit-driven “early drinking” new world wines.

Make your way along the Atlantic seaboard passing Sea Point, Bantry Bay and Clifton. Bakoven and Llandudno, with their ghostly shipwrecks, are also fantastic sights on the way to the fishing village of Hout Bay, where you will board a boat to view the Cape Fur Seal colony on Duiker Island. Explore the Cape of Good Hope section of the Table Mountain National Park, home to fabulous birds and very special fauna. Climb to Cape Point Lighthouse to capture the magical vistas of False Bay. After lunch, we visit Boulders Beach to see the penguins, and then head home through the naval village of Simonstown and over scenic Boyes Drive. To round off your day you can take a stroll through Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens on the slopes of Table Mountain.
