Day 1

Arrive Johannesburg, South Africa

Welcome to South Africa! Upon arrival in Johannesburg, you will be met by a representative who will assist you to your hotel. Relax and enjoy the remainder of the evening at leisure!

Day 2

Johannesburg to Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve

This morning you’ll return to the airport for your light aircraft flight to Singita Boulders, your home for the next three nights. All meals are included and will be served at camp.

This afternoon you will set out on your first safari! Track the ‘Big Five’ (lion, leopard, rhino, elephant and buffalo) and search for elusive cheetah, wild dog and hyena.

Days 3-4

 

Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve

On safari! Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives daily in a shared vehicle. All meals will be served at camp.

Singita Sabi Sand is a privately owned reserve in the Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve, adjacent to the Kruger National Park in South Africa. Spanning more than 45,000 acres, Singita Sabi Sand is renowned for high concentrations of big game and frequent leopard sightings. Enjoy your days at this magical location!

Day 5

Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve to Tswalu Kalahari Reserve

Today, after an early morning game drive and brunch, you will be transferred to the airstrip for your shared light aircraft flight to Johannesburg. Upon arrival in Johannesburg, you will board your shared light aircraft flight to Tswalu and then you will be transferred to your lodge, Tswalu Motse. Accommodations will be reserved for three nights, including all meals.

This afternoon, join your guide for an evening game drive in a private vehicle.

Days 6-7

Tswalu Kalahari Reserve

On safari! Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives daily in a private vehicle. The Tswalu Kalahari Reserve is the largest private game reserve in South Africa, covering almost a quarter of a million acres. A safari at Tswalu offers the chance to see uniquely adapted and rare wildlife like black-maned lions, playful meerkats, desert black rhino, cheetah, aardwolf and more. Keep an eye open for the ancient rock engravings of the San bushman, among the oldest art on earth.

Day 8

Tswalu Kalahari Reserve to Cape Town

This morning after your morning game activity, enjoy breakfast at the lodge. You will be transferred to the airstrip for your shared light aircraft flight to Cape Town. Upon arrival in Cape Town, you will be met by a representative for your private road transfer to the One&Only Cape Town Hotel.

Enjoy the remainder of your evening at leisure. Walk along the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, bustling with trendy shops, restaurants and bars of every style. Indulge in a fabulous dinner at one of many world-famous restaurants in Cape Town, like FYN, an establishment that boasts delicious Japanese African fusion food. Tables fill up months in advance, so reservations should be made as soon as you can!

Day 9

Cape Town

This morning after breakfast, you will be met for your full day Winelands Tour.

Depart the city to the Winelands region in the nearby Boland Mountains for a leisurely exploration of historic Wine Route towns. Estates visited will vary according to your interests and preferences, but the tour generally includes the region’s major wine producing areas with chances aplenty en route for tastings of high quality reds, whites and Cap Classiques (South African “Champagne”). Enjoy lunch at one of the many classic restaurants in the area. Natural and historic heritage abounds!

Following your tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel. Enjoy your evening at leisure.

Day 10

This morning after breakfast, you will embark on your private Peninsula Tour. Your guide will drive you along the Atlantic seaboard passing Sea Point, Bantry Bay and Clifton. The ghostly shipwrecks of Bakoven and Llandudno are fantastic sights on the way to the fishing village of Hout Bay, where you’ll board a boat to view the Cape Fur Seal colony on Duiker Island.

From here, navigate the 114 curves of 600m high Chapman’s Peak Drive. Next, explore the Cape of Good Hope section of Table Mountain National Park, home wildlife such as Cape mountain zebra, bontebok and the charismatic Cape baboon. Climb or ride the world’s first environmentally friendly funicular to the famous Cape Point Lighthouse to capture the magical vistas of False Bay.

After lunch, visit Boulders Beach to see the penguins, and then head back through the naval village of Simonstown and over scenic Boyes Drive, taking in the views of the fishing harbor at Kalk Bay and the seaside havens of St James and Muizenberg. To round off your day you can take a stroll through Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens on the slopes of Table Mountain. Following your tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel to spend the evening at your leisure.

Day 11

Cape Town

Today after breakfast, you will embark on a Robben Island and District 6 tour with a private guide. Following your tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel, where you will have use of a day room before this evening’s transfer to the Cape Town Airport and your departing flight home.
