Los Llanos

Fly 52 minutes from Bogota to Los Llanos, a lush region full of wetlands savannahs, wildlife, and Llanero cowboys.

From there, drive take a 2.5-hour drive or 20-minute helicopter to Corocora Camp, a tented camp that fuses luxury comforts with the adventure of life on a 9,000-hectare nature reserve. Tents include hot water showers, flush toilets, and solar power.

CAÑO CRISTALES – Amazonas

Take a 72-minute flight from Los Llanos to Caño Cristales, where you’ll be able to find the ‘River of Five Colors’ – which blooms into bright red every year from July to November thanks to the endemic plant Macarenia Clavigera.

Settle into a beautiful eco-lodge designed and build by a biologist who seeks to recover La Macarena’s plant structure through reforestation projects.
